Introduction

The Theatre Club is a vibrant platform for students to explore their creativity through drama and performance. It encourages self-expression, confidence, teamwork and communication skills by engaging in stage plays, skits, mono-acts, mime and street theatre. Through regular practise sessions, script readings and performances, members develop acting skills, voice modulation, body language and stage presence. The club also introduces students to famous plays and playwrights like, William Shakespeare and Girish Karnad, helping them appreciate theatre as a powerful art form and social voice. The Theatre Club also provides a supportive space where talent is nurtured, creativity is celebrated and every student gets a chance to shine on a stage.
