The Department has produced above 48 M.Phil., scholars so far. The priority areas of research are Enzymology, plant bio-technology and clinical toxicology, the students are made to undergo their projects in various fields.

BRIDGE COURSE
To have a wider horizon, the department of Bio-chemistry conducts Bridge course to introduce Basics of computer to non computer students, especially to the First year students. The course was conducted in the month of July every year. The faculty of Computer Science department handled the course and 125 students were benefitted for the past five years.
