The Computer Science department comprises of both UG and PG lab. The UG Lab was established in the year June 1994. UG lab is equipped with systems with latest softwares which are locally networked and connected through more than 150 systems. The UG lab is equipped with Inkjet Printers, Laser printers, Dot Matrix printers, LCD projectors, LCD Screen, scanners, CD/DVD Writer, DVD Recording Facilities,3 in 1 Printing Machine with Scanning and Xerox facilities, Effective Audio setup with Speaker and Woofer and other necessary equipments.
The PG and Research Lab was established in June 1998. It is well equipped with 120 systems. 50 among 120 systems are thin client with Intel®, Core™ i3-2100 processor effective for the PG and Research scholars.
All systems in PG lab are fully updated with latest softwares such as MATLAB, PYTHON, APACHE TOMCAT, etc., which are very useful for the higher education of the PG students and Research Scholars. The PG lab is equipped with Inkjet Printers, Laser printers, Dot Matrix printers, LCD projectors, White Board, LCD Screen, scanners, CD/DVD Writer, DVD Recording Facilities,3 in 1 Printing Machine with Scanning and Xerox facilities, Effective Audio setup with Speaker and Woofer and other necessary equipments.
Both the UG and PG Lab are fully supported with automated backups and Un-Interrupted power supply through UPS and batteries. Both Labs are connected with adequate net facilities, which enable the students to enhance their search and learn capability.
Our computer applications lab was reputable on 1999 but coalesce with computer science lab. In 2001, computer application BCA lab has alienated and well reputable with 39 systems for BCA students. Our MCA lab was reputable on 2007 with high speed processors, latest CPU and Internet connection.
At present, our computer applications lab has detach lab for BCA and MCA. Our BCA lab has 72 systems with all required software’s according to the syllabus and UGC syllabus also. Our MCA lab has 35 systems with all required software’s according to the syllabus.
Both UG lab and PG lab, we have servers which is used for LAN connection and sharing purpose. We have needed equipments to finish our work properly.
Scanner is used for various purposes; students are allowed to scan their mark sheets for placement purpose. By using scanner we scan the student’s arts to prepare magazines. It is also used for AICTE Work and seminars.
In both UG and PG lab we have two systems with Internet facility which is used to students in various purposes. By using net connection they can search for paper presentation, seminars, quiz, other extracurricular activities and students can enrich their knowledge. For staffs, they can develop their knowledge in our filed and prepare for seminars, conferences and other subject related searching.
Physics Laboratory is a well equipped research laboratory comprising of sophisticated equipments like He Ne Laser, Microwave Oven, Hot Air Oven, Muffle Furnace, Magnetic Stirrer, Centrifuge for performing nanomaterial synthesis for M.Phil and Ph.D. Additionally we can perform all UG level and PG level experiments prescribed by Bharathiar University.

Our department is established with separate UG, PG and Research Laboratories with well-equipped research equipments like UV-visible spectrophotometer, Fluorimeters, Laminar air-flow chambers, Ultracentrifuges and air-conditioned plant-Tissue culture rooms. The students are made to utilize all the equipments. So as to enhance their technical skills. The students are also updated with the current laboratory technologies by various workshops and training Programmers.
Our department has separate computer lab with 60 systems in several configuration. The lab was established in the year 2014 with centralized AC with LAN connection. Computers are typically equipped with internet access and printer with speed capacity of 200 Mbps. Computers have been installed with all the softwares required by the industries and curriculum.
The net lab has 40 client systems , 5 server systems and 12 PC’s. The Lab has Leased Line(BSNL) connection with Wi-Fi. The Server Processor has a configuration of Intel® Core™ 2 Quad CPU Q9500@2.83 GHz with harddisk capacity of 500GB, RAM: 6 GB. The client system’s hard Disk Capacity is 500 GB. There are 2 Dot Matrix printer, 1 Samsung Laser printer and 1 HP LaserJet 1020 Plus printer. There is 1 HP 8X External Slim External DVD/CD Writer. The lab is fully air-conditioned with 2 Split AC’s. The Regular Time table is followed for the Net lab access for the students of all departments. Extra Lab facilities are also provided for both faculty and students for their enrichment of knowledge.
English Language Lab was established in the year 2014 for the enhancement of the language competency of the students. A language laboratory is a dedicated space for foreign language learning where students access audio or audio visual materials which is delivered to individual students through headsets.English language lab features are Grammar, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, (LSRW) phonetics, vocabulary and soft skills. English Language Lab is helpful in every way in enhancing students' communicative skills.
