CITIZEN CONSUMER CELL

Citizen consumer club embarked on the journey for consumer education on 18-08-2008 with a view to enable the students understand fundamental rights of consumers.
Vision
To create awareness on consumer rights and organize events that truly reflect the motto “Aware, Alert, Act” to build enlightened citizens.
Mission
To Spread Awareness on consumer rights among all consumer segments of the students.

Objectives

  To educate students about rights of the consumer as per consumer protection act 1986.
  To create consumer awareness among students and general people.
  To impart knowledge about roll of consumers in protection of their rights
  To mobilize youngsters by instilling in them the spirit of protection of consumer rights.
  To enable children, students and self help groups work together as a team with local communities and develop caring, responsible and honest citizen.

The citizen consumer club of Navarasam Arts and Science College for women was inaugurated on 10 th December, 2021 by the chief Guest R.Balasubramanian, General secretary, Federation of consumer organization, Tamilnadu camp; Pondicherry, District secretary, Erode,District consumer Protection center, Erode.
